XAT 2024 Admit Card Release Delayed by One Week: Now on December 27; Check How it Can Disturb your XAT Exam Day Plan, What Measures You Should Take

XLRI Jamshedpur has announced 1 week delay in release of XAT 2024 Admit card. Now the XAT 2024 Admit card will be available for view and download from December 27, 2023, instead of Dec 20. The one week by which XAT 2024 Admit Card Release Delayed and the delay in XAT 2024 Admit Card download facility, has put the XAT aspirants in a dilemma and many of their XAT related activities will be affected adversely including the error correction process in the XAT Admit Card details

Announcing the postponement of XAT 2024 Admit Card release date, XLRI has informed “The XAT 2024 Admit card download from Dec 27 onwards.” Please remember to use your User id and Password to login and download the XAT Admit card.

XAT Hall Ticket 2024 download can be started after it is uploaded by XLRI on XAT website on December 27, 2023. No XAT Admit card hard copy will be sent individually to any candidate nor it will be sent on email. The key dates are:

Possible Reasons for Delay in XAT Admit Card 2024 Release
The two possible reasons which might have led to delay in release of XAT 2024 admit card are:

1. Increase in Volume of Applicants for XAT 2024
XAT 2024 registration numbers have broken all previous records. XAT 2024 exam applications have gone up by 40% at 135,000 as compared to 98,242 last year. 37000 More Candidates have applied for XAT 2024 as compared to XAT 2023. This high volume might have created some technical issues in creating more XAT exam centres and allocation of XAT test venues to the candidates. It is likely that due to this high volume, the delay in release of XAT exam 2024 admit card has occurred.

2. Extension in XAT 2024 Registration Date
Another reason which might be causing the delay in release of XAT admit card is 10 days extension in XAT 2024 registration last date. At the request of many XAT aspirants, XLRI had extended the last date to apply for XAT 2024 to December 10, 2023 from earlier November 30. On account this extension clubbed with high volume of applicants, the XAT 2024 admit card release might have been delayed

XAT 2024 aspirants are now in dilemma as they know nothing about the details in XAT Admit card. Since the XAT admit card is delayed by a week, there is no activity also they can initiate before the XAT admit card is made available

Travel Plan for XAT exam day! Unable to finalise
This is the MBA exam season and number of MBA exams as well as other competitive exams are taking place. Since you do not know anything about your Correct details as they will be marked in XAT Admit card, for example your test centre city, test venue, you cannot make your travel plan at this stage. 

XAT 2024 aspirants might also be appearing in other entrance exams and in case the allotted exam cities are different and are not according to the preferred test cities, the travel plan has to be rescheduled. It is not necessary that those coming from far off places may find timely accommodation in the trains of their choice.

Whether you have been allotted the XAT test centre as per your first choice or the subsequent one, will be known only when you view and download your XAT 2024 admit card on December 27 

How far is XAT Test venue? Unaware as of Now..
It is not necessary that you can get very well approachable XAT test venue in the unknown test city. You need to finalize your accommodation well in time which is nearest to your test venue to avoid any traffic blues.

If your XAT test venue is in nearby city, taking travel time of 1-2 hours, you may not like to go there a day before, but if it is far away, you need to arrive a day before, check the place where your XAT exam centre is located and get yourself accommodated at the most suitable place taking minimum travel time to the test venue.

Less time left to rectify errors in XAT Admit card
Whatever you entered in your registration form, would be reflected in your XAT 2024 Admit Card. In case of any slightest wrong entry while completing the personal details, choice of 6 test cities among others, you may face a little more difficulty than you anticipated.

You may not be allowed to sit for the exam due to mismatch in spelling or may have to travel to some other destination to appear in XAT 2024 than what you thought would be the correct exam centre.

Utilise Time & Check Application summary
You must have received an automated email confirmation upon successful submission of your application.  If you received the confirmation mail from XAT Centre 2024, all the details would be available in your application summary. Check each of the inserted details and if you find any one is wrong, immediately contact the help desk even before the XAT 2024 Admit card is issued.

Once the admit card is out on XAT 2024 website and available for download, there will be a great rush to XAT 2024 help desk and at that time it will be very difficult to get the things corrected in time. 

Details You Need to Verify
The XAT 2024 Admit Card would contain your personal details along with other information. These personal details are very much important to verify and to confirm your candidature. You should therefore check whether you entered correctly your personal details like your name, father’s and mother’s name, academic qualification among others. It may take some time and since time to get the errors rectified will be left much less, you will have to be quick as one  week has been taken out of the XAT admit card availability period.

Please remember that you will be eligible for an Admit Card only upon successful submission of online application form. Admit card for XAT 2024 is the passport to appear in the XAT 2024 exam. For example your Admit Card will bring clarity on your date, test venue of XAT 2024 exam, accordingly it will be better if it is not delayed any further.
